Villa Mario is spacious, modern and comfortable — with an unforgettable view over three lakes. Surrounded by a well-tended garden of palms, azaleas and flowers, Villa Mario is located just five kilometers uphill from the lake town of Belgirate. The closest grocery store is just two kilometers away.

Belgirate is located on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, with restaurants, cafés, grocery shops, and public beaches, as well as boat rentals and a sailing school. From here (15 min. walk), you can catch a ferry to the other beautiful lake resorts and islands. There are two golf courses within 10-15 minutes’ drive and seven more within 45 minutes. There are many villages to explore and more than enough stunning scenery to fill a vacation. Excellent hiking can be found in the Valle Grande and elsewhere throughout the region. Visit Stresa (6 km), Arona (10 km), the Borromeo Islands, Brissago Islands, and the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto; cross the border into Switzerland.

Villa Mario has highspeed DSL internet access and a garage for three cars. The swimming pool is new in 2009.
