Villa Vista Lago sits on the hillside of a 60-acre estate which also includes two other houses and a castle. It offers one of the most beautiful views of Lake Como, including the three branches of the lake, the beautiful surrounding landscape, and Bellagio. There is a charming, small restaurant located within walking distance (30 meters) of the villa, while other restaurants, shops, ferry and railroad station are located in Varenna, just ten minutes away by car. Connections to Menaggio and Bellagio are via ferry. (There is a golf course in Menaggio; fifteen minutes by ferry and then ten minutes by car.) The railroad station in Varenna connects to Milan in one hour.

All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the second floor, and the pool is 100 meters from the villa, accessed by a garden path. Therefore, we do not recommend this property for guests with walking difficulties.

Ground floor:

Second floor:

• 1 double bedroom
• 2 double bedrooms (twin beds)
• 1 single bedroom (this room has no door and opens directly into the hall)

Mansards: Guests can also choose to rent the top floor where there are two "mansards," each sleeping four. Each has a small living room, a kitchenette with dining table, two bedrooms (one with French bed/one with two single beds) and a bathroom.

Amenities: washing machine, satellite TV, high-speed internet access.

The housekeeper's family lives in an independent apartment in the basement of the property, and the owner's family, when in residence, lives in a section at the back of the house.

On the grounds is a large private garden planted with roses and olive trees, a lovely shared pool, a game room (15 meters from the villa) with ping pong and card tables, and a clay tennis court (500 meters from the villa), which is managed by a local club.

Villa Vista Lago is located on the same estate as Vista Bellagio.
