Situated in an unparalleled position on the top of a hill over the Tiber valley, with breathtaking views over fields, rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards, this ancient castle and adjoining church dating back to the XI century has now been meticulously renovated and converted into a luxury villa with stunning infinity pool and it is a perfect location for unforgettable events and weddings.

Space reigns supreme in this villa, from the extensive surrounding garden and grounds, to the large kitchen and the well-appointed 10 bedrooms with their en-suite sumptuous marble bathrooms (6 in the main unit of the villa and 4 in the annex villa). Vaulted ceilings, reclaimed terracotta tiles floors, XIII^ century frescos, travertine marble stairs create a unique home that is luxurious without being ostentatious, mixing modern comfort with traditional materials.

Adjacent and connected to the main villa and completely adorned with hand-painted decorations, the impressive church of Santa Maria Maddalena, is a unique setting to celebrate romantic and memorable moments or to simply indulge enjoying beauty and silence.

Just on the other side of the landscaped garden there is an annex building composed of 4 beautiful en-suite bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and a cozy living room that afford a spectacular view over the lovely wooden pergola and the infinity pool of the villa.

  • Welcome hamper with Nespresso Capsules and Estate products (please consider that the villa is self-catered but we are glad to include an initial provision of bottled water, coffee powder, tea, sugar, cooking and table salt, olive oil and coffee capsules upon arrival).

  • Unlimited use of Wi-Fi internet access

  • Concierge Service from 9 am to 7 pm. Available for emergencies out of hours.

  • Maid Service between 10 am and 1 pm (6 days a week excluding Sundays and public holidays).

  • Full gardening and pool cleaning service

  • Pool heating included at a standard temperature on request in peak season only. In other seasons it is not included and it is based upon consumption. Pool heating not available in mid season.

  • Weekly linen and pool towels change if guests stay for 2 consecutive weeks or more

  • Change of bathroom towels twice per week

  • Shuttle service to/from the Estate restaurant (available everyday for dinner time prior reservation) up to 8 people maximum. Multiple round trips per villa are NOT available.

  • Soaps, shampoos and shower caps in every bathroom

  • Dish soap, paper towels, dishwasher tables and washing up liquid provision upon arrival.

  • Toilet paper, Kitchen sponge and garbage bags will be provided by our staff throughout your stay (please note that that the garbage will be serviced by staff during maid service)

  • Extra maid service available on request at an extra charge if requested.

Security Deposit & Notes

  • $1,200 payable in advance to Doorways and returned after your stay less any damage or unpaid fees.

  • Transfer policy: only transfers arranged through the estate are allowed to access to the property.

  • We strongly suggest all guests to have their own rental car.

  • Sport cars and low-height cars are not suitable for the gravel roads.

  • The welcoming service is intended for key collecting and brief explanation of the villas. Please note that we cannot grant multiple welcoming services for the same group.

  • It is preferable to explore the Estate on foot or by bike. Should you wish to move around the Estate by car, ask your Concierge for a transfer within the Estate.
