Surrounded by a large natural park, La Tavernaccia’s grounds include a large swimming pool, a tennis court, a small amphitheatre and many lovely paths for strolling. The villa’s interiors are elegant and stylish, yet comfortable and welcoming. One feature that sets this magnificent country house apart is the tower on its top level, with generous views overlooking Tuscany. Furnished as a comfortable living room, the tower has wraparound windows with a panoramic 360° breathtaking view of the countryside, inviting a quiet hour with a book or a glass of wine at sunset.

The setting is picture perfect — a classic Renaissance villa set on a hill and commanding an impressive view over the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, with views of Fiesole, Panzano and Volterra. La Tavernaccia is an ideal place to relax in the lap of luxury. In fact, Prince Charles and Lady Diana were guests on the estate where the villa is located on their first trip to Italy in 1986.The location is superb, just five miles from Florence, with all of Tuscany in easy reach. The highway to Siena (45 minutes) is just four miles away, and the highway to Pisa (55 minutes) is just ten minutes by car. Florence airport is 11 miles away. Golf courses and riding stables are located nearby.

2025 Rates & Availability

Villa Tavernaccia can be rented for €34,300 per week.

INCLUDES

  • Electricity, A/C, water, gas and final cleaning

  • Daily housekeeping for up to 4 hours (except Sunday)

  • English speaking host for check-in/check-out

  •  Garden and pool maintenance

  •  Mid-week change of pool towels

  • Wi-Fi internet connection

  •  Produce from the estate as extra virgin oil, season crops from vegetable garden and orchard (when available), honey, are complimentary to the guests

  •  Cots, cradles and high chairs can be provided at no extra cost

  •   Firewood supply for fireplaces and barbecue

SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • $3,000 due 2 months prior to arrival and refunded less any damages and fees one month after your stay.


SUPPLEMENTARY

  • Heating charges (500/600 liter per week, €0,80 per liter), as per meter reading

  • Pool heating €60 per day including the days before arrival of the guests necessary to reach the requested temperature)

  • Extra housekeeping service: € 16 per hour

  • Extra linen changes available upon request:  € 50 per room/per change (bed & bath linen)

  •   Chef service: inquire for price
