How much does a private tour guide cost in Venice?
Private tours on this page start at about $348 for a half-day introduction from St. Mark's to the Rialto. Boat tours and full-day tours cost more. Prices are for your private group, not per person.
Do you need tickets for St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace?
Yes, they are separate visits with separate entry. Our Doge's Palace tour includes skip-the-line tickets, our St. Mark's Basilica tour covers the mosaics and the crypt, and the Venice in a Day tour combines both. There is also an after-hours St. Mark's tour when the basilica is closed to the public.
Is a tour of the Doge's Palace worth it?
Yes. The palace was the seat of Venetian government for centuries, and a guide brings the council chambers, prisons and the Bridge of Sighs to life. Allow two to three hours.
What is the best tour in Venice?
