Frequently asked questions
Each member of our team nominates one or two villas per region after personal stays and inspections. We discuss and vote internally. A property only earns staff-favorite status when at least three of us would send our own families.
It is a recommendation, not a rating. Each staff favorite represents excellence in its category: a chef who anticipates your preferences, a view that anchors the week, a setting that makes guests linger an extra day.
Not necessarily. Staff favorites span all price points, from EUR 4,500 per week farmhouses to EUR 40,000 per week estates. The common thread is the experience, not the price.
Annually. We re-evaluate at the end of each summer and remove villas that no longer earn the listing, replacing them with new discoveries from the season.
