About This Villa

CasaCau is a 17th-century townhouse in the centre of Rome, two minutes on foot from the Trevi Fountain. Six serviced apartments share the same staircase, the same hotel-style reception, and the same on-call team — but each apartment is fully private, individually furnished, and bookable on its own.

Book a single apartment for a solo stay, two or three for friends arriving together, or rent the entire townhouse — all six apartments sleep up to 18 across the floors. There is no lift; on arrival the keyholder will walk you up to your floor and help with bags. Quieter apartments sit at the back of the building — tell our team your preference.

The six apartments

Daily housekeeping, a welcome aperitivo, the morning espresso bar in the lobby, and a 24/7 concierge for restaurant bookings, museum slots, transfers and Vatican tickets are included in every booking. Hobe Pergh toiletries, plush linen, the kind of attention you'd expect at a small luxury hotel. Minimum stay two nights on weekends, three nights mid-week.

We wanted to open up a small hotel that would enable guests to visit Rome, stay in a superb location but at the same time feel like they are in the comfort of their own home-away-from-home. CasaCau combines this feeling of a serviced apartment rental with all the additional amenities and services of a luxury hotel.

Staying at CasaCau is not like staying at a normal hotel but it really is the best way to get to know Rome as a Roman. CasaCau’s apartment rentals are in the heart of Rome and our team is here to help you experience Rome like a local.

To get a feeling of the real Rome, guests might need four or five days at a minimum. Most guests usually stay that long, if not longer. The minimum stay at CasaCau is two nights on weekends.

Termini train station is 4km from the hotel. Freccia Rossa runs a regular service connecting Rome to Florence, Naples, Milan and Venice.

CasaCau is a wonderful gem right in the heart of Rome. Its detailed interior will leave you inspired, while feeling right at home.

It’s important to note that CasaCau does not have an elevator. Upon check-in, the keyholder will personally escort you to your apartment and help with any bags.

While all apartments have a private and exclusive feel, the apartments located on the back are more quietly situated. Just leave your preference with us.

The bathroom is full of products from Hobe Pergh produced from natural essential oils and herbs in Asiago, Italy.
