The trulli have been knitted into a single living plan without losing the conical roofs that make the region's architecture distinctive — the lounge sits inside one of the original cones, the kitchen has the curved white walls and the cool stone of the trullo tradition. The grounds are olive groves, dry stone walls, and a pool set into a courtyard between the cones. The closest town for groceries is San Michele Salentino; the closest for a long dinner is Ceglie Messapica, fifteen minutes away. Best for a small group that wants the trulli experience as accommodation rather than as a photograph.
