Puglia
Apulia is an authentic Italian region, slightly touched by mainstream tourism and still decidedly local, where Italians flock to the beaches to enjoy the hot summer weather.
A whitewashed Puglian house turned holiday rental, set in olive groves twenty minutes from Polignano a Mare and a similar drive from Monopoli, where the Saturday market and the fish auction are. Four queen bedrooms, each with its own bath, open onto the garden, which keeps the interior cool through August. The pool is the centre of the lot, edged on one side by an old wall and on the other by olives. The house suits groups and families; the layout means parents and adult children can keep separate rhythms without leaving the property. Alberobello and the trulli sit forty minutes inland, available for the day you want them and skippable the rest of the week. Local pots around the garden are planted in summer, not in winter, with citrus and herbs that get used in the kitchen.

With minimalism as fundamental concept in approaching the design of the house and its interiors, the main room on this floor is aesthetically harmonious and very functional, in fact it combines three different activities: cooking, dining, and lounging. The living area is flooded by natural light coming in from the wide openings where glass windows are used, which serve as smooth transition between the internal and external so that the whole house appears to be very airy and light. The result is a beautiful house with welcoming interiors where a relaxing sensibility persists, aided by an earthy and textural palette. The intention of this generous space is to facilitate comfortable gatherings and dinner parties.
The warm Mediterranean climate will make you enjoy especially the outdoors of Villa Cantamusa. The garden and the surrounding estate are dotted with ancient olive trees, conveying a peaceful atmosphere.
The villa also features a dining area for meals al fresco – a perfect stage for hour- long relaxed time to share with friends and family enjoying conversation and great food! … after all, they do not call it “la Dolce vita” for nothing…
Cook service – No third-party suppliers allowed: the services will be provided by the villa management and in-house staff
