Casa Bachicche is a former Tuscan farmhouse in the hills of San Casciano Val di Pesa, fully renovated in 2026 and set within 3.7 acres of private gardens and olive groves. It sits in the northern tip of Chianti, just 9 km from the centre of Florence, with views that roll out across vineyards and cypress-lined ridges.
Eight en-suite bedrooms sleep sixteen guests, and the interiors pair beamed ceilings and limewashed walls with sculptural freestanding tubs, contemporary art and a marble-island kitchen built for cooking together. Outside there is a heated pool beneath a vine-covered pergola, a hot tub, long shaded dining terraces, and a separate spa building with a fully equipped gym and private Turkish bath. Villa Tavernaccia is 500 metres away, so the two can be rented together for up to 32 guests.

Property
A former farmhouse on the hills of San Casciano Val di Pesa, completely renovated and opened in 2026. The house measures 483 square metres and sits within 3.7 acres of private gardens and olive groves, with long views across the Chianti countryside toward Florence.
Living spaces
Two living rooms on the ground floor, one with a large fireplace and one opening onto a dining area that seats twelve. At the heart of the house is a cooking-school kitchen with a long marble island and professional stainless-steel shelving, designed for cooking classes and big family dinners. Beamed ceilings, limewashed walls and oak floors run throughout, with contemporary artwork in almost every room.
Bedrooms
Eight en-suite bedrooms across two floors: three on the ground floor and five upstairs. Several suites have sculptural freestanding bathtubs, and two have four-poster beds (see Rooms).
Outdoors
A heated swimming pool under a wisteria and vine pergola, a hot tub, landscaped gardens, olive groves, and covered terraces with two long dining tables and two outdoor lounges. Barbecue, pizza oven and private parking.
Wellness
A separate spa building with a fully equipped gym, a private Turkish bath and a treatment room — arched windows frame the olive groves while you work out.

Villa Tavernaccia, a Renaissance villa owned by the same family, is 500 metres away. The two can be booked together for up to 32 guests — ideal for weddings, milestone celebrations, family reunions and private retreats.

Casa Bachicche sits among olive groves in the hills of San Casciano Val di Pesa, at the northern gateway to Chianti. Florence is 9 km away — about fifteen minutes by car — and the wine towns of Chianti are a short drive south. Siena and San Gimignano are 45 minutes away, Pisa about 55.
