Villa La Fontanella is located in the heart of Tuscany's Chianti region, with expansive views over the olive groves, vineyards, woods and country estates. Villa La Fontanella is an ideal setting for a great vacation. The location couldn’t be better: private, tranquil position on hillside just 15 minutes south of Florence, with easy access to the charming Chianti hill towns, and 50 minutes from Siena and 1 hour from Lucca. Well-appointed, spacious villa, authentically restored and surrounded by olive groves, Villa La Fontanella is perfect for 5/6 couples or extended family.

A typical dirt road, about 1.2 km long, brings you to Villa La Fontanella, through vineyards and olive groves. The building dates back approximately one thousand years, to the Medieval period; originally a small monastery, it later became a country house and was completely restored in 2006.
The villa sits on a 2-hectare fenced property. The lawn is bordered with rose bushes and olive trees. A stone patio with a BBQ provides shade for al fresco dining at a long table for twelve.
A few steps from the patio is the freshwater pool with Jacuzzi (15 × 7.5 m, open May through September), furnished with sunbeds, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Adjacent to the pool: a changing room with a bathroom and shower, and a fully equipped fitness room.

Main fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, oven, toaster and all appliances; a smaller second kitchen sits alongside it.
Dining area for twelve. Living room with a double sofa bed, SKY satellite TV and an iPhone/iPad dock.
1 double bedroom (down five steps from the dining level; cannot be separated) with en-suite shower bathroom; air conditioned.
First floor (fully air conditioned)
Spacious central living room with fireplace, Smart TV and DVD player.
