Villa Arnova is a three-bedroom apartment on the north bank of the Arno, set a two-minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio and looking straight at it. The design takes its cue from 1950s Florence — warm travertine, sage-green walls, brass lighting and mid-century pieces — updated with a sleek open kitchen and a marble-clad bathroom for each bedroom.
The living room and dining table sit against windows facing the river, so dinner comes with the bridge lit up at night. Two queen bedrooms (one converts to twins) and a single room that doubles as a study sleep five; the Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio and the Oltrarno are all within a few minutes' walk.
